  Attended Sol Bar on Friday 9th Dec and I'm sorry to say the DJ was absolutely rubbish. We attended as a work Christmas party and there was a mixture of ages in our group and we all complained. I'm not sure what age category she was catering to and I appreciate people were up dancing but I think it was more they didn't have a choice as opposed to enjoying it. When we requested songs she was extremely rude and never played them. It was such a shame as previous nights out at the Sol Bar were an awesome night out and lots of fun.

  Awesome venue. Staff are good fun. Always has heaps of good bands play there too. Good breakfast!

  Not sure why there were a couple of bad reviews recently. No problem with the food or drinks. Good selection on the menu and service was good. Typical small venue perfect for crowd interaction which suits many groups - The Beards liked it as did the audience even if ears would have been ringing for a while after the gig.
